Resume Writing Workshop 

Create an effective resume or improve your current resume. Your resume is a powerful tool to help you get interviews.

During the first part of the day we will discuss creating a resume that will help you stand out to potential employers. You will learn what to include in your professional resume and how to best showcase your skills.

The afternoon session will offer you the chance to create your resume and cover letter with assistance from our instructor. Come prepared with the information you want to include on your resume and we will help you build your resume. You will leave with a copy in hand as well as an electronic copy.

This workshop is free to anyone who has lost their job due to the decline of the coal industry in the following counties: Bell, Clay, Harlan, Jackson, Knox, Laurel, Leslie, McCreary, Owsley, Perry, Pulaski, Rockcastle and Whitley. Please enter the above county worked in as the discount code.

While this class is targeted to those who have lost jobs in coal related industries in the above counties, it is open to anyone wanting to improve thier resume. A small registration fee will apply.
