Expression of Interest for activity holders

Would you like to run a cycling activity during Bike Week and achieve publicity for your local business or club? 

Please complete the Expression of Interest form by 5 PM on Wednesday 29 August. 

Bike Week inspires people of all ages and abilities to get into the saddle by offering a range of scheduled events. We are giving you the opportunity to get involved and run your own cycling activity!

Bike Week is 9 days of events and activities to promote cycling and generate awareness about cycling groups and businesses, the importance of bike rider safety, road rules relating to cyclists and motorists and sharing the road responsibly to reduce injuries and fatalities.

Council will implement an extensive marketing campaign and coordinate free council cycling events and workshops, including National Ride2Work Day on Wednesday 17 October. Your activity will be promoted in the Bike Week Program, posters, flyers, council's website, Facebook and My Weekly Preview advertising. 

Examples of past activities include bike maintenance workshops, Come & Try BMX Day, beginners' road rides, ladies only road rides, mountain bike rides, introductory rides and experiences for kids and adults. If you're stuck for ideas, please call us and we can come up with a few options for you to consider. 

If your organisation is interested in running an activity during Bike Week 2018, please complete the Expression of Interest form by 5 PM on Wednesday 29 August, 2018.
