You are invited to attend a Teacher Training of The Pumphrey Method®, a newly offered program created specifically for correcting pitch and rhythm deficits, including tone-deafness (amusia) in the aspiring musician.

Course Description:  Level I Training is a hands on, experiential course covering the fundamental teaching techniques and sequencing of The Pumphrey Method®, specialized music training and amusia therapy.  Attendees will leave with cognitive, tonal, vocal and movement techniques for improving listening skills, tonal cognition and perception, rhythmic coordination, pitch precise diction and more.

You will learn unique trends and characteristcs present in this population.  Through taking this course you will be prepared to begin Instruction in The Pumphrey Method®  and be prepared to begin working with students who may have been previously discouraged from continuing in a musical environment.

1.  Training and training materials, including the ideas and concepts therein, have been provided to me subject to a limited license to use them to teach my students using The Pumphrey Method®.  I understand and agree that these materials are the confidential and proprietary property of Laurel Pumphrey Music, LLC, and cannot be copied, used or disclosed for any other purpose without the express written permission of Laurel Pumphrey Music, LLC.  I understand and agree that all content included in these materials, such as text, photos, and logos, is protected by copyrights, trademarks, and other rights, which are owned and/or controlled by Laurel Pumphrey Music, LLC.  I understand and agree that these materials or any portion of these materials may not be modified, published, reproduced, duplicated, copied, uploaded, downloaded, posted, transmitted, sold, or otherwise exploited for any purpose that is not expressly permitted by Laurel Pumphrey Music, LLC, and that any unauthorized use will automatically terminate the license granted by Laurel Pumphrey Music, LLC.
