Beginner Tapestry Weaving w/Benjamin Krudwig Sat July 7 1-4pm 

Jon Benjamin Krudwig of Schacht for an intro class in tapestry weaving using the Lilli Loom! Tapestry weaving is the perfect summer fiber art form as you won't have a heap of wool resting in your lap and playing with color and using them freely is a requirement!

Benjamin will guide you through the process of setting up the tapestry loom and teach you several fun ways to use this loom and create extraordinary texture. Tapestry weaving techniques work well in both image based pieces and more abstract pieces and everything in between.

If you have been itching to try this medium and create a one of a kind fiber piece, this class is for you. The usage of a loom is included in this class so no need to bring your own or purchase one until you have tried it! Bring a stash of fun colors and textures with you to create your masterpiece from. Small bits and bobs from your stash are perfect for this class.
