Imagine yourself in the south of Italy in the sun-drenched Calabrian rugged mountains, old-fashioned villages and dramatic coastline. Chef Kristin Dovbniak, who spent time there and fell in love with their cuisine, will teach this hands on class where we’ll make: Insalata Calabrese (Calabrian tomato salad), Pesce spada alla Bagnarese (Calabrian Swordfish with capers and lemon), Scarola aglio e olio (Brasied greens with garlic and olive oil), Ricotta al forno al limo (Baked lemon ricotta cheesecake) and Antipasto (for snacking): Caponata with Italian bread and calabrese-style cured meat. We’ll also taste Italian wines to compliment the menu.
