Opportunities for scientists in India 

Dr. Shahid Jameel, CEO of the India Alliance, a non-profit research trust funded jointly by the Wellcome Trust, UK, and the Indian government’s Department of Biotechnology, will be visiting the Texas Medical Center as part of a U.S. outreach program. 

The purpose of the visit is to reach out to the biomedical research community in the U.S. to inform them of funding and career opportunities in India’s growing life sciences sector. Ph.D. students, postdoctoral scholars and junior- and mid-career scientists are welcome to learn about a range of positions, job opportunities and funding opportunities in India.
