For 114 years, the Wesley Community Center has been supporting and empowering families in Houston’s Near Northside, through our mission of investing in the potential of individuals and creating opportunities to strengthen families and build neighborhoods. Wesley holds a luncheon every year to celebrate our work and programs that impact over 20,000 Houstonians.

Please join us for the Wesley Community Center's Spirit of Helping Luncheon on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at the Houston Country Club.

Keynote speaker Edward M. Emmett has been a Harris County Judge since March 6, 2007. Judge Emmett, working with the county commissioners, manages the nation's third largest county. He is director of Harris County's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, chairman of the Harris County's Juvenile Board and chairman of the Conference of Urban Counties Policy Committee. Judge Emmett and his wife Gwen have been married for 43 years and have four children and 13 grandchildren.

We invite you to review the enclosed sponsorship opportunities and consider partnering with us to support the luncheon and ensure our ability to continue helping others in our community.  Please respond by October 8th to ensure your inclusion as a sponsor on the invitation.

If you have any questions, please contact Jennifer Tucker at 713-821-8996 or by email at jtucker@wesleyhousehouston.org.

On behalf of all the children, seniors, and families who benefit from your generosity, we thank you and look forward to seeing you at the luncheon.
