CRITICAL INFORMATION CONCERNING EPS SUBSIDIZED COLLEGE CREDITS:

The Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) has prioritized Degree Attainment for Educators in the Commonwealth.  In support of this priority, the EPS grant subsidizes college course work that is intentional and supports:

  • Educators to earn a certificate, credential and/or degree in ECE or in a related  field, or;
  • Programs to meet staff professional development or education requirements for accreditation or QRIS.

To be eligible for consideration to register for an  EPS subsidized college course, you MUST submit an application.  There will be an application linked to each college course offering on our website.  Our college offerings will be posted at www.cdedu.us/SEEPP.  Upon review of the application, Educators will be required to submit a current IPDP that shows the college course is needed to meet one of their goals and speak with our Lead Coach, Carla Seymour PRIOR to the applicationbeing submitted to the college offering the requested course.  At the time of application, educators MUST pay the $50 application fee for the course or the application will not be processed. This fee will only be reimbursed should SEEPP or the college not admit the Educator.

You may contact Kailey Brennan with any questions at kailey.brennan@cdedu.us

By completing this application it does not mean you have been accepted into this course.  SEEPP will review your application and you will be contacted by our career advisor.
