2018 Nonprofit Awards

Please join us for the 5th Annual Nonprofit Awards Celebration, hosted by NAMC! This is the only event in the region that recognizes the collective impact of nonprofit organizations and honors their dynamic staff members.  In past years the event was sold out with over 200 guests - including civic and business leaders, nonprofit leaders and staff, and community supporters.  To accommodate even more guests, we have moved to Embassy Suites in Seaside. Once again our event will feature breakfast, awards, entertainment and the very popular red carpet photo shoot!
Nonprofit Awards: Staff and Organization

This event offers a unique opportunity to honor two important groups: 1) specific nonprofits that have demonstrated significant impact, effectiveness and/or innovation; and 2) the unsung heroes, who have worked creatively and tirelessly on the staffs of nonprofit organizations in Monterey County. Nominations deadline extended to 5 PM, August 15.

Alfred Diaz-Infante, 2018 Receipient of the
Perry G. Flicker Leadership Award
We are pleased to announce that Alfred Diaz-Infante has been selected for the 2018 Perry G. Flicker Leadership Award, to be presented on Sept. 14 at our annual breakfast.  Alfred is President and CEO of CHISPA, the largest private, nonprofit housing developer based in Monterey County. He has built bridges across disparate communities and has generated understanding and cooperation between parties that are often adversarial. Outside of his job, Alfred has worked tirelessly to build a thriving community for ALL residents of Monterey County. He has served on the Boards of many nonprofit organizations including the Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System, Hartnell College Foundation, Community Foundation for Monterey County, York School and YoSal.
 In previous years, recipients of the NAMC Core Leader Award have included Joe Grainger of the Harden Foundation, the late philanthropist Mr. Perry Flicker, Dan Baldwin of the Community Foundation, and Judy Sulsona, champion for nonprofits.
