How to Hire, Train, and Manage an Inside Sales Team

Join Business Coach and Author, Dan Fowler, to learn how to hire, train, and manage your inside sales team during this engaging presentation at the Camarillo Library. 

We will walk through the steps it takes to hire a sales rep. What type of personality traits do they have to best match your company profile? What types of attitudes and commitments do they have to follow a designed process?

We will look at how to train them and the amount of time it will take them to make that first quality phone call, and the methods, tools, and materials needed. 

Finally, we will look and focus on how to manage that sales team. What KPI's are needed to ensure their success and the company's success.

About Dan

Dan Fowler has led a varied and interesting life. He is a graduate of Olivet Nazarene University with a BA in Business Administration, and minors in Economics and Psychology. He is a member of the University Athletic Hall of Fame at ONU in 2 different sports, still holding 1 university record.  Dan joined the US Marine Corp and did his basic training at Officer Candidate School in Quantico, VA.  He was a member of the 1980 AAU basketball championship team.  It is clear to see that Dan overachieves in every aspect of his life.

Career-wise, Dan spent more than 30 years in Informational Technology sales management.  He was a North America National Sales Executive, a Federal Sales Manager and a consistent Presidents Club member.  Dan was a participating force in taking 3 companies from private to public. He has owned his own commercial real estate practice, invested in multi-million dollar real estate properties, and has served on the board of a financial non-profit.

Dan has been married for 40 years to his college sweetheart, Jennifer. They have two sons: Derek and David, and became first time grandparents to Atticus in October, 2014.

Dan Fowler got involved in coaching as a way to share his years of experience and wisdom with others who are facing many of the same challenges he faced.  He enjoys helpings others overcome obstacles’ and achieve success. As a puzzler, Dan strives to find the right solution for each client and knows that there is no “one-size fits all” answer out there.  His coaching credentials include:
