Youth Leader & Faith Formation/Christian Educator Retreat
A retreat just for Youth/Faith Formation/Christian Education Leaders. Karen Abel Jepsen, an Ohio Certified Prevention Consultant and Advanced Certified Trauma Practitioner, will lead a certification workshop on Mental Health First Aid for Youth. This is an 8-hour training workshop and participants will leave on Saturday with a Certification of Completion. The training workshop will begin Friday evening. The evening will conclude with a time of socializing and getting to know each other. The workshop will continue following breakfast on Saturday. The retreat will end with a worship service.
Bring a snack to share on Friday night and BYOB. The Heritage Barn has dormitory style rooms. Bring bedding, shower bag, camp chair and bug spray. Breakfast and lunch will be provided (we will cook our own meals).
