The fast moving change environment we live in has presented many challenges to our population - from how we manage job and industry losses to how we educate our work force to survive in the changed environment and how we plan our business strategy to succeed in the new world we have created. This series will address four areas of technology emerging in Silicon Valley and related Silicon geographies over a six month period: Big Data & Analytics, Cloud Computing & Security, Virtual & Augmented Reality and Robotics.

Each of these events will be addressing quality challenges in these technology areas and will consist of a Keynote speaker, an expert panel, and a social get together.

Keynote Speaker: Greg Berkin, CEO of  Silver Screen Cinematics an AR/VR/MR company working with Hollywood content to engage audiences.  www.SilverScreenCinematics.com.

Greg's company is developing cutting-edge experiences by meshing virtual e-commerce with physical spaces, products and experiences. Silver Screen Cinematics drives Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR) and Mixed Reality (MR) to enhance the social buying experience across all modes of device, network and interface. Greg is immersed in VR and AR as a developer for Microsoft Hololens, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Sony Playstation VR and others.

He is also Managing Director for Concours Ventures, a Silicon Valley boutique angel capital group investing and developing VR/AR companies and products.

Douglas has many years of experience as a consultant, manager, and engineer in the computer and software industries . In addition to teaching, he provides organizational assessments, strategic quality planning, and test planning services. His recent technical work has focused on equivalence class analysis, test oracles, and advanced test automation architectures. He is a regular speaker at conferences worldwide, holds credentials for teaching Computer Science at the college level, and has taught management, technical, and quality assurance related university classes for several Universities on both coasts. He has been very active in the Section's activities; teaching classes, leading the Software TAG (SSQA), and he holds the distinction of being ASQ's SV Section Chair twice. He is also a founder, Lead instructor, and Past President of the Association for Software Testing (AST), an international professional society.
