Early Literacy 

                         

Course Description: 

This course examines the early literacy learning domains, reading, and writing, listening and speaking. These are the skills young children need in order to learn to communicate, read, and write. We will describe each of these domains along with identifying every day early literacy classroom experiences you can apply to your program.

*Prerequisite for eduactors enrolling: This class will be taught in an online format which will require homework assignments, discussion boards and quizzes. In order to participate in this class, you must have a computer and speakers, high speed interenet, an email account and basic computer skills (using the internet, dowloading and attaching documents to an email and navigating the online platform's software.
