  California Coastal Cleanup Day

at Marina Park

Volunteer Ventura! is looking for volunteers to join us for
the 34th Annual California Coastal Cleanup Day
on Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 9 am - 12 pm.

The mission of the Ventura Countywide Coalition for Coastal and Inland Waterways is 'Promoting clean & healthier beaches, rivers and creeks, throughout Ventura County'.

Be one of 80,000 people to take part in the upcoming 34th Anniversary of California Coastal Cleanup Day! Volunteers will remove debris from the coast, creeks, rivers, lakes and shorelines all around California protecting wildlife from harm while taking care of our environment.

Bring Your Own Bag, Bucket and Gloves! This year volunteers are again encouraged to bring their own bucket or recycled grocery bag to collect debris, gloves (or a trash grabber), and a reusable water bottle to lessen the amount of trash created during the event.

This event is open to volunteers of all ages, including community groups and individuals. Youth under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  All participants and parents/guardians must sign a waiver, available in English and Spanish. Waivers will also be available at the project site.

Group Sign Up: On the online registration form under "Group Member Information" you may indicate how many from your group will attend.

Marina Park is located at Pierpont Blvd and Greenock Lane. If you are interested in volunteering, please register by clicking the "Register Now!" button below.

Thank you!
