AWI-Great Lakes Annual Member Meeting 

Join us in West Michigan’s lakeshore city Holland, known for white sandy beaches, dutch dancing, and tulips for our Annual AWI Great Lakes Members Meeting Thursday, September 13 through Friday, September 14.  This annual event begins with an optional fun activity-this year it's charter fishing on Lake Michigan. Enjoy a good meal with your fellow members Thursday evening at the City Flats Hotel downtown Holland followed by a pub party in one of the many breweries downtown for a great time to meet and mingle over a beverage or two. The next morning begins with a member breakfast round table to discuss common challenges we are facing in the industry, get an update on national news and how your local chapter is providing opportunities. Then join us as we tour local manufacturers (the list of potentials includes, Tiara Yachts, JR Automation, a local cabinet shop and a place hand crafting wooden bowls). We’ll round out the experience with an optional lunch downtown Holland to end the day before heading back home or continuing your weekend vacation.

COSTS:

-Hotel; Reserve your accommodations by August 13th to receive the special nightly rate of $169+ (call 616-796-2100) and mention "Architectural Woodwork Institute Great Lakes or AWI" to get the special rate for Thursday night) Limited availability-first come first serve.

-Dinner 9/13 and Members Breakfast 9/14; complimentary to current AWI Great Lakes members (and dinner guests) *see dues info below for 2018.

-Alcoholic Beverages; your expense

-Pub Party 9/13; alcohol at your own expense

-Charter Fishing 9/13; $100/person (starts at 11am)

-Transportation; your expense

-Plant Tours; complimentary to attendees. Please wear closed toe shoes and bring eye protection.

DUES:

Invoices for the AWI Great Lakes Chapter annual dues will be handed out at the event. Please note that all manufacturers are required to be an AWI National member to be a part of the local chapter. If you are not a member of either the local or national AWI-you're still invited but please call Shawn Hager to discuss event attendance 616-475-5890 ext. 213.
