Crime Lab Overview/Collection and Preservation of Firearm Evidence 

The core focus of this course will demonstrate and concentrate on physical evidence related to the forensic discipline of Firearm Identification. Subject matter covered will include the proper packaging of a variety of firearms and expended ammunition components such as bullets, cartridge cases and shot shells. Students will be educated on how to accurately locate firearm related specimens, secure and package unique items and know what specific forensic examinations can be performed on the items. Those attending the course will be given definitive instructions on the proper handling of a wide array of physical evidence assuring critical crime scene evidence remains intact.

There is a $10.00 fee for the POST Certification processing and full payment is required before start of class.
