If you need credit to start or grow your business, this workshop will help you prepare. Betty will address the “C’s” of credit, the documentation you should be prepared to give a lender and the questions you should be ready to answer. She will also suggest options and talk about helpful resources. You will leave armed with the knowledge of how to best present your request whether you are applying to a bank or a micro lender.
Frost Bank is providing lunch for the first 25 who register and attend this workshop. Also, two (2) $25 gift cards will be drawn for registered attendees.
Betty Davis is a vice president and the community development officer for Frost Bank in the Austin Region. She regularly presents an abbreviated version of the material covered by this workshop as part of the SCORE Essentials class. During a banking career of more than 30 years, she has served in a number of lending and community development roles. Betty is a volunteer financial literacy instructor and has served on several boards/advisory boards including Austin Habitat for Humanity, Financial Literacy Coalition of Central Texas, Texas Bankers Association Foundation, and PeopleFund. She also has served on numerous non-profit committees.
