On August 17:
Camp All Saints will be enjoying a game of baseball at Rough Riders Stadium. We have purchased 300 tickets for this event and so Bishop Sumner will throw out the first pitch and we will have the opportunity for our youth to sing the nation anthem. We hope to form a youth choir this summer and want to know if your camper will want to be a part of the fun by participation in the National Anthem.
IMPORTANT
This is not a youth event, so it is required that families attend the game with their children.
Let us know if your camper will be able to participate in the singing of the National Anthem and we will make sure they a part of the practice.
We look forward to seeing you at the game.
David Campbell,
We are hoping for a crowd!
We have purchased 300 tickets for this event. The benefits for purchasing 300 tickets include;
National Anthem:
For the National Anthem, all kids, wanting to participate should meet me, David Campbell, at guest services (red booth on the concourse right behind home plate) at 6:30pm. The Rough Riders staff person, Cameron Pipes, will then escort us down to the field where the game day staff will do mic checks, arrange them, etc. with Executive Director, David Campbell (possibly some other staff with guitars) to open the game by singing the National Anthem.
The ceremonial First Pitch of the game will be thrown out by our very own Bishop Sumner:)
Other benefits:
Where are we seated?
We are seated along the 3rd base line (in the shade). When you order the tickets online you can see where our seating is.
Last year the sun was on our backs for only a few minutes and then we enjoyed the rest of the game out of the sun. It was a GREAT night and we are hoping you can be there to join us this year.
If you have any questions at all about the game, please be sure to give me a call. You can reach me at the camp office: (903) 786-3148
Yours in Christ,
David Campbell, Executive Director
