Please join us for our second wine dinner, featuring DAOU!

 

Please join Chef Erin Sealy at her new! Lake Arrowhead location, The Grapevine, for an evening with Paso Robles', DAOU Winery & Vineyards. We'll be pouring 5 wines, each a fantastic representation of some of the best wines Paso has to offer. Daniel Brunner will be joining us from the winery and taking us through these Bordeaux varietals, which are crafted in the highest elevations of Paso Robles atop the Adelaida District. Chef Erin will be crafting a 5-course pairing menu to complement each wine! Expect a wonderful evening of wine, food and Insights from Heidi and Chef Erin. Seating for this event is limited, please register asap, using the link below!

Each selection will be paired with its own wine inspired dinner course, prepared by Chef Erin Sealy. Chef Erin specializes in pairing food with wine, with a slightly different approach than most. Prior to creating a menu, each wine is tasted and reviewed and then she creates a food pairing, highlighting the nuances of each wine. This concept creates a dinner and pairing experience with layers of complexity and unique creations which exemplify the enjoyment of each wine. With a passion for food and wine, Chef Erin delights attendees with a detailed account of the pairing concept and cooking techniques that create each course. Expect a fabulous evening of wine, food & educational insights! Please see below for additional dinner details and a registration link.

Crab, Langostino, Fennel + Radish Salad with Lemongrass Crème Fraiche Dressing on Crispy Wonton and Topped with Scallion


2017 DAOU Paso Robles Grenache Rose

Fresh Strawberry, Grilled Peach and Spice Rubbed Shrimp Salad with Baby Arugula, Aged Balsamic Drizzle, Crumbled Goat Cheese and Chopped Macadamia


2016 DAOU Winery Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon

Tomato + Merlot Braised Tri Tip on Fire Roasted Corn + Parmesan Soft Polenta in and topped with Blackened Portobello, Sauce Tomato and Cambazola Cream. Garnished with Charred Cherry Tomato and Arugula Salad


2016 DAOU Winery Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

Slow Roasted + Broiled Pork Belly on Brown Lentils with Crispy Bacon, Dried Currant and Tuscan Kale. Topped with Sun Dried Tomato Pesto and Served with Balsamic Glazed Brussels Sprouts
