Due to the impending hurricane, this event has been postponed until a later date.  Please visit http://bit.ly/songwriting18 for our songwriting retreat and concert with Ysaye M. Barnwell, Paul Reisler and Dietlinde Maazel.

Bring your family and join us for the most fun you’ll ever have at a fundraiser.  An afternoon of music, food, and celebration to benefit Kid Pan Alley’s songwriting programs in the schools.  Performances by Bill Harris, Kid Pan Alley, Paul Reisler, Lorraine Duisit, Miranda Hope, Barnes & Hampton, Ben Mason, Smiggy Smith, Linda Heimstra, Michael Shea, & Brooksie Wells.  It will be held at historic Jessamine Hill Farm in Washington, VA.  Since it’s all about the music and the children--kids come free.

Kid Pan Alley’s mission is to inspire and empower children to work together to become creators of their own music and to rekindle creativity as a core value in education through the group songwriting process. To date, they've written over 2,700 songs with over 60,000 children across the country from Virginia to Hawaii. The songs are a sophisticated and powerful world-view as seen through the eyes of the children.  Their songs have been recorded by artists including Amy Grant, Sissy Spacek, Delbert McClinton, Cracker, Kix Brooks, Nashville Chamber Orchestra, Corey Harris, Suzy Bogguss and many others. They’ve won numerous awards including Parents’ Choice Gold Awards, a WAMMIE, and have received a Grammy nomination for one of their recordings.

Help us celebrate 19 years, a few thousands songs and our tens of thousands Kid Pan Alley kids!  And while your at it and having fun, you'll be helping inspire children across the country.

Tickets are $100 in advance, $110 after 9/13.  As Kid Pan Alley is all about the kids, kids are free.
