A discussion about the impact of regulation reforms and a possible on-site visit to a local refinery will highlight the Thomas Jefferson Institute’s annual State Energy Policy Summit this year. Other summit discussion topics will include electricity, pipelines, fracking, nuclear power, and off-shore gas and oil exploration and development. A clean water update will also be included in the program.
In addition, an optional Refinery Tour is offered for Monday, October 8. Buses will leave from the hotel at 1:30 pm, arriving back at 5:30 pm.
You must register at SPN and have SPN name tags in order to get through security and into our meeting room. If you are coming only to this State Energy Policy Summit, please go to the SPN webite (www.spn.org) and click on "Annual Meeting" and register for the Annual Meeting. Security has been significantly tightened again this year.
This is a full agenda and, if you attend the entire conference, we will reimburse you for your hotel room for Monday night, October 8.
