Success in the Queen City (6:30-8pm): Enjoy networking with fellow Charlotte business women as we celebrate Women in Business Month. 

 Appetizers will be served ~ Cash bar

Join us before Success in the Queen City to engage in a workshop for women-owned businesses. 

Power Players (5:00-6:30pm): Hear from our panel of experts and learn how you can get access to capital. Power Players is sponsored by our Trailblazing Partner - Bank of America.

We have TWO great events on one night and in one location! Paid ticket is required to attend Success in the Queen City but the Power Players event is FREE.

This night will offer you the opportunity to let local leaders understand the challenges and needs of Charlotte women bussiness owners!

What is H.R. 5050 Exactly? 

Noteworthy sections of The Women’s Business Ownership Act included:

• Erasing the need for a male relative or husband to co-sign a business loan,
• Establishing the Women’s Business Center (WBC) program
• Creating the National Women’s Business Council (NWBC)
• Requiring the Census Bureau to include women-owned c-corporations, which expanded research beyond the self-employed and into bigger women-owned businesses
