2018 Annual Alumni Retreat

Every year, Santé hosts the Alumni Recovery Retreat. This retreat offers alumni from all over the country the chance to renew, reconnect and recommit to their recovery. Santé staff members and local mental health professionals offer several experiential therapies, lectures and discussions. There are opportunities for alumni to connect with current clients during 12-step meetings and meals. Several alumni have made the retreat a part of their commitment to recovery.

Recovery is not something that is completed upon leaving our addiction treatment program; it is an on-going process of learning and personal growth. It is important to stay connected and know that Santé wants you to succeed through your personal journey that is recovery.
 RSVP

Friday night, the Denton Country Club will be hosting an upscale banquet dinner for alumni and guests of all ages. For the adults, Saturday will be a day full of workshops, ropes course, butterfly release, games, and lots of entertainment!

Quotes Overheard at 2017 Alumni Retreat

  • “This is home again. Helps me to remember what being here means and what good experience it was. Takes time to be vulnerable.”
  • “Santé is my church.”
  • “I come back to recharge my batteries – nature, spirituality, nurture, etc.”
  • “Felt so happy to see the same gate, though I am in such a totally different place. Though it felt familiar, I found myself reflecting on all that has changed for me (recovery, marriage saved, practicing medicine again, having children, financially stable, etc.) since I was here.”
  • “I came back to remember that this was real, very important even though many years ago.”
  • “There’s just this warm feeling. Coming back home. Feel like you belong here. The memories come flooding back…"
