Regular Session of Synod

The Archbishop of Toronto, the Most Rev. Colin R. Johnson has called all Synod members in the Diocese of Toronto to assemble at the Sheraton Parkway Toronto North Hotel & Suites (600 Hwy 7 East) in Richmond Hill for the 158th Regular Session of the Synod.

Synod is a gathering of lay and clerical members who constitute the governing body of the Church. It is at Synod that members determine, at a high level, the priorities for Diocesan Council and its Committees, and refocus the mission of the church throughout the Diocese.  Synod gatherings are a time of worship, inspiration and education, as well as a forum for affirming the direction of our ministry together.

Registration Steps

1. Open the Registration Report document.
2. Obtain your Member ID.  You will need this number in order to register.
3. Ascertain whether or not you are entitled to accommodation at no extra charge.  Your eligibility is indicated on the report under the heading ‘Accommodation’ as either ‘ELIGIBLE’ or ‘NOT ELIGIBLE’.
4. Decide whether you wish to purchase tickets for the Optional Buffet Dinner on Friday evening.
   
5. With this information in hand, scroll down this page and click the “Register Now” button and fill out the required fields on the registration form.
