Dr. Doug Stringer is founder and president of  Somebody Cares America / International (SCA/SCI),  which was recognized in by Ministry Today magazine in 2014 as one of the  twenty-one churches or ministries that are most influencing the twenty-first-century church. Dr. Stringer is a “leader’s leader” in the areas of prayer, compassion ministry, evangelism, community transformation, and mentoring younger generations. Author of eight books, Dr. Stringer’s Leadership Awakening: Foundational Principles for Lasting Success, by Whitaker House, addresses how Christian leaders in every phase of their career and every segment of society can overcome common pitfalls that cause failure.

In addition to encouraging and equipping Christian leaders for personal and professional success, Dr. Stringer also trains them to impact their communities for the glory of God, bringing about both leadership and community awakening! Hear time-proven principles and stories of God at work from this practitioner with over 35 years of hands-on ministry, both in the US and globally.

Whether you’ve been following Christ for a few years or for most of your life, I think you will agree with me that we are living in very different times than we were just a few short years ago. The challenges we face as leaders—whether as vocational ministers in the church or as influencers in the marketplace—are multiplying as the world around us continues to rapidly shift away from our Biblical foundations.

Statistics from numerous studies confirm the difficulties that come with leading:

2 out 5 new CEOs fail in their first 18 months

30% of Fortune 500 CEOs last more than three years

70% of Christian leaders historically do not finish well

America and the Church are in desperate need of a Leadership Awakening! Today we need persevering and courageous leaders, in all spheres of society, that maintain the plumbline of righteousness and justice with healing and hope rather than being swayed by societal pendulums.

Join us for this strategic gathering specifically designed for Marketplace Leaders, Pastors as well as Prayer and Ministry Leaders. This gathering will be led by Dr. Doug Stringer and will include guest speakers Wallace Henley and Major General (Retired) Robert F. "Bob" Dees.  All have decades of godly leadership experience in various spheres of influence and will share Biblical principles and practical application proven in their own lives and leadership roles.  It will also include a roundtable discussion where participants can share best practices, biblical principles, glean from and encourage one another.

Registration includes all sessions, lunch on Thursday and Friday, as well as valuable resources that will allow you to continue developing as a leader into the future.

SPACE IS LIMITED, and REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED,so if you are interested in participating in this powerful and timely gathering make sure to REGISTER SOON!

WHAT PAST PARTCIPANTS SAY

"It’s not often that a leader of Doug’s level will be as vulnerable as Doug about key issues of the heart that are needed to sustain godly leadership. Doug has broken down to an elemental level why that fire burns in his heart so brightly and has consistently burned and impacted some many cities and nations. It’s been a privilege to be here".  Mike May, Pastor of Pipeline Church in Humble, TX

"Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to be involved in your Leadership Awakening Event. It was great to be with you and other leaders that attended. This event needs to be done for other groups of leaders. Thanks for your influence and encouragement in my journey, it has been invaluable." Lonny Robbins, Globec Resources LLC and Former Mayor of Pampa, TX

"We’re in a place of transition, and the truths from this gathering has helped us regain focus as we move forward." Terry and Vickie Gaskins, Rise to the Time in Dennison, TX

"This far exceeded my expectations- subject matters, content and new friends."  Joaqin Molina, Pastor Miami, FL
