With Amazon and other online retailers changing the way consumers shop, what is going to happen to large box retail spaces and buildings? How can repurposing malls improve and revitalize the surrounding neighborhood? These transactions are complex. It's oftentimes difficult for lenders and equity partners to understand the vision, and securing financing can be challenging. The September CREW Luncheon will focus on the future of retail space. Panelists will discuss the environmental, developmental and financing challenges of redeveloping retail sites. They will also discuss success stories and future opportunities surrounding the reinvention of retail.
