Come join the Cayuga County Chamber of Commerce and Wells College for Speed Networking!

This lightning series of 3-minute conversations will allow you to meet 15 to 20 people one-on-one in an hour, far more than a traditional reception-style networking event. Many people find the structured format more comfortable than an hour of general mingling.  There will be time following the activity to carry on your conversations more leisurely.

 To ensure the best experience for everyone, please keep the following in mind:

• Be Punctual: The format we are using is not conducive to latecomers. Once the action starts, it could be difficult to enter the activity.
• Bring Business Cards: Anticipate speaking with 15 to 20 people during the speed networking activity, and then possibly meeting a few more during pre- and post-activity mingling.
• Prepare a Pitch: Each interaction will only be 3 minutes. Come prepared with a roughly 1-minute pitch about yourself and your organization to keep things moving smoothly.
• Bring Handouts: Feel free to bring swag or additional information about your organization to hand out, but keep it small.
• Be ready to move: This is an active event requiring everyone to change seats. Please let us know in advance of any mobility limitations so we can accommodate all needs.
• RSVP: Space is limited, so registration is preferred.
