Cancellation & Refund Policy
If you are unable to attend a pre-paid workshop, payments will be refunded less a 20% administrative fee provided the refund is requested 10 days or more, prior to the workshop date. Within 10 days of the workshop date, payment may ONLY be transferred to another course date AND the transfer of payment is good for only the 12 months after the original workshop date.

Moving Past Psychological Reversals in Therapy to Accentuate Healing
Description:
Psychological Reversals are subconscious beliefs that sabotage individual success in all areas of a person’s life. It is said that the subconscious is responsible for 86% of our behavior. Our clients' conscious awareness is only part of what they bring into the process. Addressing Psychological Reversals can truly help people work past their current life circumstances. Come learn what these culprits of misery are and how to clear them using traditional and alternative methods like EMDR, CBT, and EFT.
Learning Objectives:
1) Learn what is a “psychological reversal” and how they impede your clients’ progress.
2) Identify specific ways to clear psychological blockages including EMDR, EFT, and CBT.
3) See a Live Demonstration utilizing one or more of these modalities.
4) Examine ways to measure progress.
5) Learn ways to examine your own psychological reversal that can negatively impact therapeutic effectiveness.
This course has been approved for 3 CEUs by the NM Counseling & Therapy Practice Board and is accepted by the NM Board of Social Work Examiners.

Instructor
Mary F. Baca, CWK, CRP, LPCC is a Licensed Counselor in the state of New Mexico. She received her undergraduate degree with a dual degree in Psychology and Criminology. She went on to graduate with her Master's Degree in Counseling in 1989. Mary has maintained a thriving private practice, Odyssey Counseling, for 27 years, employing several therapists, and a holistic practice, Resilience Integrative Services. Included in Mary’s repertoire of specialty areas are PTSD, acute stress, depression, anxiety, and grief. She is trained in EMDR, a powerful modality she's used for over 15 years, in addition to CBT, guided visualization, EFT, Applied Kinesiology, Reiki, and more. As a certified holistic practitioner Mary integrates a variety of traditional and alternative methods in her work.
