Healthy Practices for Ministry: Cultural Competence

Cultural competence is the ability to interact effectively with people of different cultures and different abilities in order to communicate and function successfully within the context of another's cultural beliefs, behaviors, and needs. In our increasingly diverse and pluralistic world developing cultural competence, being aware of another's cultural norms, helps us connect and relate to another with respect and humanity.

The event is only $35...free for pastors who retired from ministry.

Lunch is optional and is $10.

Registration deadline is Wednesday, October 3.

Every person engaged in active authorized ministry with standing within the EOA/WRA is required to complete a Healthy Practices for Ministry every two years.
