Yangphur Drubchöd
with Tulku Sang-ngag Rinpoche

For three days Rinpoche will lead the sangha in Namchak Tsasum Lingpa's terma treasure "The Unsurpassable Union of Yangdak and Phurba" from the cycle "The Dark Red Amulet". This practice is traditionally performed during the time of Losar (Tibetan New Year) in order to avert obstacles, clear the path for auspicious new beginnings and create positive circumstances for the future. Since Tulku Sang-ngag Rinpoche will leave for Asia shortly after Christmas, the drubchöd will be held December 14 - 16, 2018. Yangphur, when performed together in a group, is particularly effective and beneficial.
Each day of the drubchöd will include the sadhana of Yangphur, a tsog (feast offering), and dokpa (averting obstacles). Rinpoche will bestow the Yangphur Empowerment at 7 pm on Friday, December 14, 2018. Drubchöd will conclude with Gu-Tor (torma burning ritual for averting negativity) in the afternoon on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at the Tibetan Association of Santa Fe followed by dedication prayers at Pema Khandro Ling.

*Lunch break each day is for at least an hour usually around 12 pm.
We welcome offerings of flowers and incense for tsog as well as dark grains/dark beans for dokpa (averting practice).

Logistics
Yangphur Drubchöd will take place at Pema Khandro Ling in Santa Fe. Participants are responsible for arranging their own lodging, meals, and transportation. Light snacks and tea will be provided at the center. Attendees are encouraged to stay at an Airbnb, Santa Fe Suites or Sage Inn.
Cost
Sliding scale: $225, $250, $275
*Cost does not include offerings to Rinpoche, Khenpo or the translator. In addition, one should also contribute to the daily tsog feast.
