"The Trade" - A Discussion of the Showtime Documentary

About the Program

We know that Halloween is a scary time, but does it compare to the drug trade?  Join us as we view the Showtime Documentary series "The Trade" and have an open discussion about each of the films as they relate to present day in Warrensburg, throughout the State of Missouri, and in the nation.

We invite students, faculty, staff, and members of our community to engage in conversation about the current impact of drug use, drug trafficking, treatment, and other related issues from multiple perspectives.

Schedule

9:00 am - Episode 1: Explore America's heroin crisis from the trafficking in Mexico, the dealers in Ohio, and the addicts in Atlanta.

10:00 am - Episode 2: Violence escalates, law enforcement deal with overdoses, and treatment facilities deal with addiction.
