COOKING CLUB SESSION 5: Flavors of China! Wednesday, October 17th 6:00-8:30pm
In this NEW adult cooking club series, led by Chef Deja Hart, we will cook, bake and experiment with ingredients, spices and preparation methods from countries around the world! *Suitable for cooks of all levels. All you need is a passion for food, sharing ideas and a love of cooking. We will enjoy everything we make together, accompanied by wine tastings.
How it works: Sign up for any Cooking Club class that peaks your interest. At your first class you will receive a Newport Cooks Club Card. Each time you take a club class your card will be punched. After 5 classes you will receive a free Newport Cooks Embroidered Apron; and after every 10th class you will get 1 class FREE!
Session 5: Flavors of China - We will discuss the diffent flavor profiles and ingredients used in Chinese cuisine compared to other asian countries as we make Potstickers (Shrimp & Pork Dumplings), Kung Pao Chicken (a famous Sichuan style Stir-fry), Chow Mein (Egg Noodle Stir-Fry) & Fried Rice!
