How To Form A LLC or Corporation in One Day in Texas

The name of your LLC must comply with the rules of your state's corporation filing division of the secretary of state's office. Things to consider:

  • the name cannot be the same as the name of another LLC or corporation on file.

  • the name must end with an LLC, corporation, Inc., etc., and

  • the name cannot include certain words prohibited by the state, such as Bank, Insurance, trademark, Corporation or City (state rules differ on which words are prohibited).

This class in 90 minutes will give you in the ins and outs on how to file for a corporation or LLC in Texas and get approved in one day and how to file for your IRS EIN number. Additionally, we will talk about legalities and liabilities of a sole prop, corporation/LLC, and partnerships. When you leave, you will have a document that is ready to file electronically with the state.
