Special Topics Workshop 2018 

This session will focus on providing meaningful literacy instruction to students at the earliest stages of communication and concept development. 

Please join us for a fall workshop that will include a focus on:

• Emergent literacy for complex learners,
       including those with sensory impairment; 
• Enhancing ACTIVE learning and communication
       -- verbal, non-verbal, and pre-symbolic;
• Building trusting relationships with students
       who have complex needs;
• Strategies to connect communication, object schedules,
      and literacy to routines and activities;

The philosophy is that all learners are on a literacy continuum. This is a must see!!
