KEYNOTE SPEAKER AND HONORED GUESTS

The education rights of our children and the formation of IDEA wouldn't have happened without the bravery of Mary Tatro.  Her fight with the Irving ISD for rights for her daughter  Amber to be catheterized at school went all the way to the Supreme Court.  Her attorney, Craig Enoch, will be our keynote speaker, discussing this monumental case, as we thank Mary for all that she did and honor Amber's memory.  Link to more info on Tatro vs. Irving ISD.

Session Information - Sessions will focus on parents, adults, teens and children.  Topics are relevant to everyone, including  individuals with disabilities other tha Spina Bifida.  These sessions are important to all age groups.  While you might have a younger child and not think that certain topics are relevant to you, you will be amazed at how much information and insight you will gain from attending the sessions.

TOPICS INCLUDE:

Anxiety, Depression, SSI, Medicaid, Wound Care, Adaptive Sports and Fitness, Every Child Texas, Bridges to work Program, Disability Advocacy at School and Work
