Places/Locations we will visit-

Let's begin with the 1850's in KY ....

Our first destination will be located at the KY/TN border at the beautiful Land Between the Lakes.

Miles of amazing trails await you with beautiful views of the water.

Visit the Homeplace 1850s Working Farm and Living History Museum represents a two-generation farm. When you visit the Homeplace, you will see interpreters in period clothing going about their daily chores. You’ll find the perfect blend of artifacts, restored historic structures, and traditional seasonal activities to step you back in time to relive history before the Civil War. Even our livestock includes rare and endangered breeds. We cultivate many varieties of garden plants and field crops; most from heirloom seeds dating back before the Civil War.

Moving on into the 1860's & 1870's in South Dakota

The amazing film Dances with Wolves was based in 1864 and was filmed in SD .  A visit to the museum & tour of movie sets  plus a dinner show at the old west town is planned during our time in South Dakota.

Spending several days in SD with amazing scenery and an abundance of wild life available for viewing during our stay.  You never know when you will see a herd of buffalo wondering down the street or along the trail.

Trail riding & tours available to Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park & Crazy Horse Memorial.

What a story to tell your friends!

Sculptor Korczak Ziolkowski and Lakota Cheif Henry Standing Bear officially started Crazy Horse Memorial June 3, 1948.  The Memorial's mission is to honor the culture, tradition and living heritage of North American Indians.

Day trips just a short drive from camp include-

Devils Tower

DEADWOOD...where Wild Bill is still Alive!

The year was 1876  when Wild Bill last walked the streets of Deadwood.  During your visit to this historical town visit the graves of the famous Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane.  Live Perfomances daily and much more!

Enjoy trail riding at its best!  With this location we will enjoy a variety of terrain, views and trails.
