Presenting the Strategic Miami Area Rapid Transit (SMART) Plan

The Strategic Miami Area Rapid Transit (SMART) Plan is a bold infrastructure program of projects that will significantly improve transportation mobility in Miami-Dade County and the South Florida region. The SMART Plan will promote economic growth and job creation, as well as increase the region’s international competitiveness. The Plan will expand transit options in Miami-Dade County along six critical corridors:
1. Beach Corridor
2. East-West Corridor
3. Kendall Corridor
4. North Corridor
5. Northeast Corridor
6. South Corridor
Join us as we introduce the Transportation Planning Organization's Executive Director Aileen Bouclé as she explains the SMART Plan and attends to all your questions and concerns about the future of the Plan!

Get to know our speaker:
Miami-Dade TPO Executive Director - Aileen Bouclé, AICP
Ms. Bouclé is the Executive Director for the Miami-Dade Transportation Planning Organization. She is currently leading the charge, along with the TPO Governing Board, to provide mobility choices for the residents of Miami-Dade County through the local transportation planning process, and more specifically the Strategic Miami Area Rapid Transit “SMART” Plan. She has worked in the transportation field for over 20 years in both the private industry and with the Florida Department of Transportation.
Ms. Bouclé has a Master’s Degree in Environmental and Urban Systems, with a specialty in Transportation Planning, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration from Florida International University. She is also a Certified Professional Planner with the American Planning Association Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).

The "StartUp Doral" workshops are offered free of charge through a partnership between the Doral Chamber of Commerce, the City of Doral and local area businesses, on the first Thursday of the month. Workshops are held at the Doral Government Center, 8401 NW 53rd Terrace 33166.
