 Leveraging Golf to Increase Business

 

Golf has long been considered one of the best forms business networking and development. Since only a small percentage of the time is actually spent hitting the ball, it provides a great opportunity to network and talk business.

Patrina King, the workshop presenter, is the Founder of Golf Women Mean Business, LLC. She understands that being successful is not always a straight process. Patrina has developed a great passion for educating professionals on how to use golf for business.

During the workshop, you’ll learn:
  • Why you should consider golf for business
  • What can happen during 9 holes of golf
  • How business is done on the golf course
  • Appropriate golf vocabulary
  • Ways to get involved in golf, whether you are an avid golfer or not 

Included in this valuable training opportuity is a hands-on activity and walk through a mock scramble tournament using a putt-putt format. A prize will be awarded to the winning group

Patrina King, Leading Golf Authority

Patrina King is an Author, and Founder of Golf Women Mean Business, LLC. She has been featured on various television and radio shows and started Women’s Golf Day in Georgia. However, the epitome of Patrina’s efforts to educate professionals come in her workshops and speeches which aim to “humanize” business golf for those who are hesitant to give the sport a try.

She is a former Human Resource professional; a Youth Advocate and she understands that being successful is not always a straight process. Patrina decided against choosing any of the 36 opportunities to play collegiate golf and attend college without any extracurricular activities in order to focus on getting her career started. Patrina never lost her passion for golf and now focusses on educating professionals and entrepreneurs on how to use golf effectively in business.
 
Patrina is a current member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Women’s Solidarity Society, a society within The National Center for Civil and Human Rights and the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Inc. MECCA Chapter.
