12-5-18 Our Kids Are Stressed Out:  Calming Strategies for the Classrooms- No Fee for Member Districts, $35 Fee for Non Member Districts

Speaker: Karen King

Target Audience: K-12 Special Education Teachers, General Education Teachers Counselors, PASS coaches, school psychologists and administrators.

What causes stress in our kids today?  We will explore this question and look at what data and research tells us about how we can help them be less stressed.  We will look at different calming strategies that could be easily implemented in the classroom that will help with symptoms of ADHD, lower anxiety and depression, decrease anger, and improve both self-regulation and academic performance.

If you need ADA accommodations, please email Cecilia Barnhill,  cecilia.barnhill@ckec.org
