Become A YouTube Creator (for Beginners)


Does the thought of creating videos make you sweat? Have you always wanted to start 
using YouTube, but don't know where to begin? Then, let me show you how to get 
started in this hands-on YouTube workshop.

If you're new to YouTube and want to create your own channel, let me help you learn 
how to create and upload your first video.

What we will cover:
Learn how to set up and brand your YouTube channel.What channel art is and how to design your own.How to create your videos and a channel trailer (and why it matters).Why and how to optimize your videos.How to create a unique subscriber link to get people to subscribe to your channel.

Prerequisites:
• This is a hands-on workshop, therefore you MUST BRING YOUR LAPTOP AND 
MOBILE PHONE;• Basic PC/mobile phone skills and internet knowledge are required;• You must have a working Gmail account and know the password;• If you already have a YouTube account, you must know the email address 
password;• Optional: Please bring your headshot, business photos, company logo and other 
graphics you'd like to use on your YouTube channel -- on a flash drive (or on your 
computer)
*NOTE: This is a beginner's workshop. We will not be discussing YouTube Live.

INSTRUCTOR: - Romona Foster is a highly endorsed social media trainer and consultant teaching small businesses and nonprofits how to leverage and brand their businesses through the use of social media. She is an engaging speaker who is passionate about all things related to social media marketing. She trains groups and individuals on how to use LinkedIn, how to market their business on Facebook, all about Twitter, Instagram, the best practices of Email Marketing, Online Marketing, and Personal Branding.

Romona was listed as one of the “best in tech” at DC Web Women’s Code(Her) Conference. She was a guest content strategy speaker for the Code(Her) Conference. She has spoken to thousands of small business owners and nonprofits and has conducted workshops and webinars for several organizations including Google, Social Media Week DC, Maryland Hispanic Business Conference, National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB), and the National Black MBA Association, Inc. DC Chapter (NBMBAA).
