We need YOU present to officially elect the following candidates to serve as a Board Member starting January 2019!

The Chapin Chamber Board of Directors and the Nominating Committee present the following slate of board members for a three-year term (2019-2021) for your consideration:

Steve Wall, Owner, The Tipsy Toad Tavern/
Steve Wall & Associates
Steve currently serves on the Board as Chair-Elect and will renw to serve an additional 3 year term. He will serve as Chairman January 2019 - December 2019. Steve has been in insurance for years. In his free time he enjoys being on the golf course or boating on Lake Murray.

Sterlin Carpenter, Palmetto Health Parkridge 
Sterlin is currently serving, having joined as a replacement to fill a temporary vacancy. He will renew to serve his own 3 year term, which will begin January 2019. Sterlin began his career 12 years ago as a nurse with Palmetto Health in Intensive Care and currently serves as Director of Nursing for Critical Care and Medical Surgical Services at Palmetto Health Baptist Parkridge. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family and friends.

Lisa Minges, General Manager - Health Directions, LMC
Lisa will replace Darlene Frye who will rotate off the Board in December. Lisa has been with Lexington Medical Center since 2004. In her free time she likes to walk, read, and serve on the Board of the Chapin Junior Woman's Club. 

Jamie Bohnke, Owner, Chapin Liquors & Chapin Discount Liquors
Jamie will replace Duane Carter, who will rotate off the Board in December, having served 2 full terms. Jamie retired in March of last year after 31 years as a supply chain executive across various industiries.  As an active member of the Timberlake Ladies Golf Association, you can find her on the course several times a week. 
Beth Gierhart will undertake the duties of treasurer in January 2019.

Hope Hahn, Office Manager, Quality Life Solutions
Hope will replace TC Bowers who will rotate off the Board in December, having served 2 full terms. Hope has over 25 years of customer service and management experience. She has a caring heart for the Chapin community that has been home to her, along with her husband and children for the past 5 years. She enjoys volunteering her time with the American Red Cross, Make a Wish, as well as Habitat for Humanity. 

Pam Chick, Enrollment Coordinator, SC Whitmore School
Pam will replace Mike Vidal.  She has been in education for 9 years and has been with SC Whitmore School for the last 6 years. During that time, she has been an active member of the Chapin Chamber. During her downtime she enjoys spending time with her husband, John, and volunteering with Chapin/Irmo Relay for Life as a committee member.
In addition to our normal business meeting, Representatives Chip Huggins and Nathan Ballentine will tag team to give us a legislative update. This meeting will also give you your first opportunity to nominate your fellow members for our Annual Chamber awards, will be presented to the winners at our Annual Awards Gala & Silent Auction on Friday November 16th, 2018
