The Law of Video Remote Interpreting #5 The View from Inside the Courtroom

Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) usage continues to increase. More and more organizations are using this technology to facilitate communication with deaf and hard of hearing people.

But what are the rules? What does the law say about VRI use? Now, for the first time, we reveal what happens inside courtrooms where people claim discriminatory VRI use.

Our presenter, Bruce Adelson, is the testifying expert in multiple federal court cases where communication with deaf and hard of hearing people is the central issue. VRI is often used as the means for this communication. However, using VRI is more complex than just turning on a computer, as the cases show.

Now, Bruce discusses the VRI sworn testimony, allegations, and defenses that will enable organizations to enhance their understanding of The Law of VRI.

Our Webinar Agenda:

Discussion of multiple VRI federal court cases

Descriptions of VRI discrimination allegations and evidence

Descriptions of VRI usage testimony under oath and court decisions
