Participants who are staying overnight will be expected to book their own room arrangements. Lodging is not included in the cost of the tour.

2018 Architectural Tour
Taos: Architecture Alive
Taos will be the New Mexico Architectural Foundation’s 31st tour – an annual event that is renowned for featuring our state’s most enchanting built treasures.

Registration includes meals* and entry fees to each of the sites. 
Included meals are indicated with a (*) below.

Architects: AIA awarded the tour with 10 HSW learning units. Fee is applied at registration.

Taos is about a 2hr, 30 min. drive from Albuquerque. Please plan your arrival accordingly and consider carpooling. Transportation between sites will be the responsbility of each participant. 

Friday, Nov. 2 

3:00pm:         Tour participants will meet in Ranchos de Taos for a tour of the mission church 

4:30pm:          Depart Ranchos de Taos and stop at the County Courthouse to view the WPA murals. 

6:30pm:          Evening mixer at Taos Inn's famous Adobe Bar to gather and discuss plans for
                       Saturday's tour while enjoying this historic hotel (food/drinks NOT included)  

Saturday, Nov. 3

9:00am:        Hacienda de los Martinez 

11:30pm:        UNM Taos - New Campus
                      * Boxed lunch provided 

2:00pm:         Couse-Sharp Historic Site and El Rincon Trading Post

3:30pm:         Taos Art Museum at Fechin House 

5:30pm:          * Dinner and spirits at the Fechin House gardens 

Sunday, Nov. 4

10:00am:       D.H. Lawrence Ranch and tour 
                    * Coffee and continental breakfast provided

12:30pm       Tour of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Questa
