Public Libraries Interest Group Meeting (12/19/18)

Communication and networking are vital components for staying abreast of what is happening and helping to make positive changes.  This group will facilitate an opportunity to talk, share, rejoice and even commiserate about current activities within public libraries in Northeast Florida.  We need your voice.  Join us.

The fourth meeting of 2018 will take place online on Wednesday, December 19th, from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm.  Immediately following this meeting, we invite you to also register for and attend Part One of the webinar "Turning Patrons Into Cheerleaders" with trainer Linda Bruno, a topic of great interest to those of us who work in Public Libraries. So crank up your webcam, check your computer audio, and join us for our final Public Libraries Interest Group meeting of 2018!

Your Facilitator Is:  Diane Johnson, Alachua County Library District

Over the past 15 years Diane has enjoyed working in public libraries.  She began in the Nassau County Public Library System first as Youth Librarian and next as a Branch Manager.  Her work continued with the Marion County Public Library System as Youth Services Division Manager. Currently, she serves as a Library Manager with the Alachua County Library District. Her favorite feature of public library work: “From newborn babies to Baby Boomers, we are ready to serve them all”.

Cost: NEFLIN Interest Groups are free of charge and are open to NEFLIN members only.  Registration is strongly encouraged.
