Our Presenters
Jim Merrill is the Founder of LCRP, LLC and Sr. Director of Platinum Circle Partners. He has an extensive executive management and consulting background with more than 30 years in the logistics and transportation industry. Jim’s unique experience includes extensive parcel contract negotiations on both sides of the negotiations table: 13 years on the carrier side at Airborne Express, and the past 17 years in his current role as an outside consultant to hundreds of companies that use various transportation services.
Rick Collins is the owner of Providence Logistics and is currently partnered with Platinum Circle Partners in Atlanta, GA, which serves over 300+ major clients in the U.S. Rick began his transportation career at United Parcel Service where he worked for nearly 22 years in Senior Management. Rick's experience at UPS included sales, sales management, pricing and marketing in various parts of the country. His transportation background also exposed him to the LTL industry, where he was a Regional Director with a major LTL carrier for a 3-year period with sales responsibilities for a 7-state region. For the past 15 years, Rick has served as a leading Supply Chain Consultant for clients in the U.S. and abroad.
