The ASCE MN Mankato Student Chapter invites you to the November Section meeting. Michael Kronzer will be speaking about MNDOT's Connected and Automated Vehicle Initiatives and Michael Vrtis will be speaking about innovations in pavement engineering.
Michael Kronzer: MnDOT Connected and Automated Vehicles Initiatives. Connected and Automated Vehicle (CAV) technology is rapidly advancing and has the potential to revolutionize the transportation industry. This presentation will touch on how the State of Minnesota is moving forward to address CAV policy and planning challenges. It will also discuss the MnDOT Autonomous Shuttle Pilot project and the issue of automated vehicle winter weather testing.
Michael Vrtis, research engineer with MNDOT, will be speaking about pavement engineering innovations.
