Come join us for a nighttime stroll along the St. Joseph River. We will cover nocturnal camera basics such as balancing long exposures, artificial light, pianting with light, astrophotography (weather permitting), etc.
We will meet at the Seitz Park gazebo for a short lecture and then break into groups to experiment with different techniques and compositions along the river. The instructor will move amongst the groups giving tips and advice.
Required: a camera capable of shooting in manual mode and a tripod
Recommended: warm jacket, hot beverage, remote camera trigger (wired or wireless), flashlights, laser pointers, glowing objects (other props you want to experiment with).
Note: Raindate: October 26/November 2
Seitz Park is located at the river at Washington Street and South Niles Avenue in South Bend, across from the Emporium restaurant.
