Presenter:  Richard Kelsey

A SCORE Mentor since 2009, Richard’s background is comprised of engineering construction  management with the US Peace Corps and US manufacturing firms followed by a career including over 25 years with of a private international financial consulting firm specializing in business valuation and related corporate finance services. Richard has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University and an MBA from the University of Denver Daniel School of Business.  

Presenter:  Buck Harris

Buck Harris is Vice President and Manager, Community Lending at Community Investment Corporation.  Early in his career, Buck started and managed his own catering company and later a restaurant.  He uses this experience and his financial expertise in his current position providing funding and consulting to entrepreneurs to help them grow their business.  Buck holds an MBA from Quinnipiac University, where he has also taught Business Communications as an Adjunct Professor. 

Presenter:  Patrick Lorent

Patrick Lorent has 29 years of experience in the Commercial Lending Industry. He is Vice President and Manager of the Peoples United Bank Government Lending Department. He also owns the Barnum Wash & Dry, LLC and won the 2011 U.S. Small Business Administration’s Financial Services Champion of the year award. He volunteers at Liberation Programs, Inc. and Connecticut Minority Supplier Development Council. He is a graduate of Morehouse College and University of Connecticut.
