CAAHEP Accreditation Workshop
for Paramedic Programs


Please bring your laptop!

There is no required advance homework in preparation for the workshop; however, the attendee is encouraged to:

  • Download the Self Study Report that is appropriate to their program.

  • Familiarize yourself with the CoAEMSP website. CoAEMSP has a plethora of resources, many of which will aid you through the accreditation process and beyond.

  • Review the articles and tools.


This workshop is designed to educate attendees on the CAAHEP accreditation process, including the self study, site visit, and maintaing accreditation.

 The following will be addressed:

  • Overview of the accreditation process
  • Resources
  • CAAHEP Standards and Guidelines (2015)
  • CoAEMSP Interpretations of the 2015 CAAHEP Standards
  • Site Visits
  • Site Visit Findings Letters & Progress Reports
  • Annual Reports
  • Deal Breakers & Other Stumbling Blocks



Space is limited! There is room for only 50 attendees. The workshop sells out, and there is always a waiting list! Register and pay early for the best price and to guarantee your seat.
  • The registration fee includes breakfast, lunch and breaks each day.

  • Early bird registration is $425 and if paid by check, must be postmarked on or before November 21, 2018, 5:00 pm Central Time.

  • Regular registration is $450 from November 22-December 27. Payment is required by credit card via PayPal (or PayPal account) at the time of registration. (You do not have to have a PayPal account if you wish to pay by credit card.)

  • Payments made by check must be postmarked on or before November 21, 2018; after November 21 all payments must be made via PayPal.

  • Registration closes December 27, 2018 at 5:00 pm Central Time or when all seats have been reserved, whichever comes first. 

  • If you require a Purchase Order or need an invoice, contact Heather Parker at as soon as possible after registration so she can send the required information.

  • Cancellations within 7-30 days of the workshop start date are subject to a $50 cancellation fee; alternatively you can elect to have your funds held for a future workshop within one year, and the $50 cancellation fee will be waived. Any cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop will not be refunded, and cannot be applied to a future workshop.

  • Registrations submitted with payment by check require payment within ten (10) days of submission. Registrations submitted with payment by purchase order require payment within thirty (30) days of submission. Registration fees not paid by the deadlines will result in the registration being removed from the registration roster.
