Community of Practice: Inclusive Growth in Practice
Supported by the Scottish Government, on Tuesday 23rd October EDAS will be holding its first of three half-day discussion events on the topic of inclusive growth. The title of this first event is Inclusive Growth in Practice and the focus will be on practical examples of inclusive growth in different settings.
As part of this event, attendees will hear from presenters discussing inclusive growth in relation to a specific region of Scotland, and in relation to a specific industrial project. Our hope is that these presentations will provide attendees with tangible examples of how growth might be made more inclusive at both the regional and the project levels.
Following the presentations there will be some facilitated discussion sessions so that attendees can feed-in their own approaches to delivering and measuring inclusive growth, and to discuss any obstacles that might exist. Attendees will also be invited to discuss their ideas on other ways inclusive growth might be delivered, and what the role of the public and private sectors might be in this.
